This is my personal Branding project. It was an exciting and challenging journey to put together all knowledge I'm using on a daily basis for commercial projects, but now for myself.

Lately, I've been using a lot of CGI to produce my own mockups and product visualization, so I accepted the challenge to apply it to my brand's visual communication.

First challenge

My first challenge was finding time to work on my project. As my life and work tend to overlap each other, I took the chance to develop it slowly - which is usually pretty rare.

Using the time as my ally I sought more knowledge that could help me tell my story and at the same time challenge my skills.  So at the end of the process, I would not only design consistent communication but also skill up my abilities

That was a bold move that took me out of my comfort zone, but I took on the challenge. After all, it was also a chance to have some fun and add more layers to my story. I hope you guys enjoy it, as much as I did!

Logotype

The logotype starts with a play, mixing my surname "Gondim" and the word "Good".

The insight was: "People usually wanna know what you're good at when coming to professional skills" and I thought, " wait a minute I'm good in many things! - That's how GOOD"IN was born!

*The right way to say it would be "Good at" but I gave myself the creative freedom to name it like that!

Responsive

As an exercise to expand my logotype application I ran a little experiment to stretch its possibilities. Interestingly enough, along with the exercise, I realized I could create symbols from my logotype letters.

That was a big realization because it taught me the value of exploration and experimentation. LOL

Symbols

As the logotype is a text-based design I found it interesting to explore different combinations, using letters as symbols to compose the visual development of the brand.

Visual development

So as you can see the graphic applications of these symbols created diversity. Now, I can explore it as graphic elements and not letters anymore -  Cool, right?!

Stationary

Using the Voronoi effect from #Blender2.8 I've created some extra elements to explore my communication. They're always shifting and creating new patterns - which is aligned with my claim "Shape-shifter".

Most of these mockups were created using
#AdobeDimension, a great tool for beginners in CGI. Results are awesome and the integration with the whole #CreativeCloud makes workflow incredibly smooth. If you don't know it yet, you should check it!

Clothing
& Apparel

As part of the exercise to push my graphics appliance, I stepped into the fashion world. Although I couldn't find a niche for my clothes, the result seems pretty appealing.
What do you think? Which kind of style would be that?

Motion Graphics

Well, here is where I feel the most uncomfortable. Motion and 3D are my new required skills. I still have a long way to go, but for the sake of the exploration, I'm glad about my achievements. It looks dope and delivers my brand's look and feel!
